COVID-19

Statement from the CEO

At Ambright, we live by two guiding principles:

1.     Safeguard the well-being of our workforce; and

2.     Ensure business continuity for service to our customers

With this in mind, we are monitoring the developments around COVID-19 very closely and can report the following:

Ambright is aware of the situation within Europe concerning the Coronavirus outbreak and has taken steps to mitigate the risks in the supply chain as well as for our employees. As an initial step, all non-essential travel has already been suspended, starting from the 10th of March until further notice.

Following recent events in the EU we decided to act and advised all Ambright employees to follow a temporary containment policy. This policy has been developed specifically for the COVID-19 crisis and aims to endeavour to maintain where reasonably practical the continuous supply and service to our valued customers. The policy contains an operational part (= electronics and optics production) as well as an administrative part (= development, order entry, complaints, invoices, etc.).

Our production and finishing departments continue to operate within multiple manufacturing locations with redundant capacity. We have received no reports of potential disruption from our supply chain at this moment, nor are we aware of any circumstance that would affect Ambright‘s raw material supply chains.

To mitigate the risk for our operational staff from potential internal cross contamination, the policy advises for all non-essential persons to work from home when possible.

As a result, please be aware that starting from 16. March 2020, our Munich (Germany) based Customer Service Staff (Order Management Team + Project Management Team) will work from home until further notice.

We have created a supporting infrastructure to support this, however due to the de-centralized setup and the limited time available, please expect delayed answers in certain cases. The availability by phone might be limited, therefore we ask you to use email for correspondence whenever possible.

The temporary containment policy will be followed until further notice. Once the situations changes, we will naturally reach out to you with a full statement.

We thank you for your understanding during this challenging period! Stay Safe.

Sincerely

Florian Ilchmann
