Minimalism redefined

The body of each SparkShape is made of high-quality acrylic glass, which is framed by two layers of aluminum. 

On an area of up to 250 x 125 cm² you design your individually shaped SparkShape luminaire: Your unique luminaire. The body of the luminaire is 6 mm slim and, depending on the viewing angle and shape, has a maximally reduced and uniquely elegant effect.

Light distribution and positioning

Each SparkShape offers up to three light components. Filigree downlights with excellent glare control, intensive uplights and the unmistakable light from the illuminated edge that gives your luminaire the perfect finish. For the first time you conjure your lighting atmosphere as individually as the luminaire itself:

With each SparkShake, you define the number and position of each uplight and each downlight freely and according to your ideas. The corresponding illuminance is calculated individually for each luminaire and can be instantly displayed via LightSketch.

Control via Casambi

Simple. Intuitive. Wireless.

Thanks to the standard integration of the innovative Casambi lighting control system, you can individually switch, dim and integrate every light component of your SparkShape into scenes and conveniently control it via the app or with numerous compatible controls. The dimming range is between 0 - 100%.

Casambi is a Bluetooth-based lighting control system. It can be operated intuitively via mobile devices with the Casambi app (free for iOS and Android). Through the app, functions such as dimming, grouping of lights and programming of groups and scenes are easily possible.

Background

The threshold for PstLM has been set by IEC/EN 61000-3-3 as of September 1, 2021 at ≤ 1.0, and the SVM ≤ 0.4. These values represent the visibility thresholds of test subjects focusing on the evaluation of the stroboscopic effect under laboratory conditions. With the new Ecodesign Directive, the two flicker parameters for assessing short-term perceptibility may thus not exceed a PstLM value of 1.0 and the stroboscopic effect parameter may not exceed an SVM value of 0.4.

SparkShapes adapt to the room: underneath or next to each other, on the ceiling or on the wall. The variety of mounting options allows (almost) all variants. Horizontal or vertical? How would you like it?

If your SparkShape is mounted on a suspended ceiling, we make the luminaire power supply disappear. Positioned externally, the result is a maximally minimalist appearance. Alternatively, we offer two canopy shapes and sizes for mounting on a bare ceiling with a predefined power outlet. You can even freely choose the position of the connection point, taking into account your structural conditions.

In all mounting variants, the power supply is provided without visible supply lines.

Solutions for all types of ceilings

As individual as your SparkShape, as simple is its installation. Together with your new luminaire, you will receive an individual drilling template for alignment on the ceiling. This corresponds to the shape of your luminaire and marks the exact positions of the suspensions.

If you have a concrete ceiling or no access to a suspended or clad ceiling, we recommend the use of one of our matching canopies. Depending on the shape and size of your luminaire, various types are available and may be supplemented by additional suspensions.

Freely plannable power supply

Variable placement

The power supply can be mounted inconspicuously so that the weightless design of the luminaire is maintained. For suspended ceilings, we can invisibly power your SparkShape. All that is needed is the specially designed ceiling fixture, as well as a luminaire power supply unit, which, together with the current-carrying suspensions, allows the luminaire to be powered invisibly.

Alternatively, we offer two canopy shapes and sizes for mounting to a bare ceiling. If the power outlet on your ceiling is already defined, you can freely position the corresponding location on the SparkShape according to your circumstances. ​

You can access the data sheet of your SparkShape via LightSketch. You can access your own designs or create a new luminaire.
