Lorenz began his design studies at the Faculty of Design in Munich and moved on to Lausanne to complete a master's degree in product design at écal. In projects, Lorenz reaches for the essence of form by reducing it to its essentials. The works are based on contemporary values, careful research of the context and a respectful use of materials.

At Ambright, Lorenz brings his strengths to SparkShape design in close collaboration with architects and planners. The works embody precisely designed and tailored pieces that highlight their surroundings.

Max began his career with a solid training in carpentry before studying design at Rosenheim Technical University. A semester abroad at Chiba University in Japan shaped his eye for precision, material awareness, and design clarity. He is currently deepening his knowledge in a master's program with a focus on furniture design.

In his projects, Max seeks a balance between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary expression. Careful material selection, a clear design language, and relevance to the respective context form the basis of his work. The result is objects that impress with both their functionality and their aesthetic restraint.
