POWFOX GmbH develops and sells cell phone charging boxes for use in the hospitality and retail sectors. The Munich-based start-up and now successful company commissioned Ambright with the technical development of the devices even before it was founded. The requirements were defined and the mechanical design refined in close cooperation with the customer. Now in its third generation, the specially developed, MFI-certified electronics take over the charging control and recognition of different cell phones.
Integrated, controllable lighting underlines the customer-specific branding.
In the prototype and pilot series phase, Ambright also took over the machining of the housings using its own machines. The production and supply of the price-sensitive electronic components is carried out using state-of-the-art manufacturing processes and in-house quality control.
