Play with the Lines

Train and subway train drivers are familiar with this announcement: “Please pay attention to the gap between the train and the edge of the platform when alighting”. In Bensheim, Hesse, the announcement will now read: “When boarding, please pay attention to the gap between the train track and the edge of the light”.

What happened? Our specialist retail partner Die Lichtgestalter came up with the idea of using SparkShapes to design an illuminated track plan produced using light printing to creatively showcase the modern exhibition rooms in the former Bensheim-Auerbach station building.  Pretty wacky - what a nice analogy for the historic building! This is exactly what characterizes SparkShapes in addition to their technical finesse. Proverbial lighting design according to plan.

Depending on the desired mood, the three light components per luminaire can be dimmed separately - here only the light edge shines together with the indirect component.

Attention to detail: The suspensions can be individually planned and positioned to optimally adapt to the conditions of the project.
