The world's first magnetic resonance tomograph with an 80 cm tube sets new standards for patient comfort: a special funnel illumination was designed, developed and now produced in series. The special requirements for the electronics in the high magnetic field range had to be taken into account, as did the requirements for impermeability, biocompatibility and resistance to cleaning agents and moisture.
